For one of our major e-commerce clients, we are looking for a Front-End Engineer to join the Ad Insights team. You will be a key driver in transitioning reporting and insights solutions from Angular to a modern React architecture while improving code scalability across two collaborating teams.
What you’ll do
- Lead the framework migration from Angular to React for advertiser reporting solutions.
- Refactor and optimize the codebase to reduce duplication and build a more maintainable structure.
- Shape the future architecture of the front-end, ensuring it is scalable for long-term growth.
- Collaborate across teams, serving as the primary front-end expert for Ad Insights while aligning with a secondary partner team.
- Own the full lifecycle of front-end initiatives within an agile environment, running multiple parallel projects.
- Drive engineering practices by writing high-quality code and proactively addressing architectural challenges.
What we’re looking for
- Solid React Experience: Deep technical proficiency and a hands-on approach to building modern UIs.
- Architecture Mindset: Ability to contribute to high-level front-end design and structural improvements.
- Ownership & Proactivity: A self-starter who moves work forward and thrives in ambiguous environments.
- Strong Communication: Essential for articulating ideas and collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
- Team Player: Comfortable in a team of 8 (3 FE, 5 BE) with a culture of shared ownership.
- Availability: 3 days hybrid, with mandatory in-office collaboration on Wednesdays and Fridays in Utrecht.
- Fluent English + NL residency.
Tooling: React, Angular (legacy), TypeScript, Agile/Scrum, Front-end Architecture.
Assignment Details
- Duration: Approximately 9 months.
- Focus: Ad Insights and advertiser reporting.
- Location: Utrecht (Hybrid).
