As a Team Lead of one of our mobile teams, you make sure your team performs at its best and our apps get a little better every day. You stay hands-on as a skilled software developer, help your team members grow, and guide them through challenging technical decisions. Together, you build solutions that make our customers smile.

How do I become a Team Lead Mobile at Coolblue?

As a Team Lead Mobile, you lead a dynamic team of 6–7 Android and iOS developers. You combine leadership with hands-on work, spending around 75–80% of your time coding, joining technical discussions, and making smart architectural decisions. You also focus on pair programming to raise your team’s technical level.

Together with the Product Owner, Customer Journey Specialist, Designer, and Analyst, you make sure your projects move in the right direction and priorities are clear. You maintain code quality by applying best practices and doing thorough code reviews, while constantly looking for ways to improve collaboration and productivity.

You foster an open culture where giving and receiving feedback feels natural, and new team members quickly feel at home. Together, you create software that makes our customers happy.

You recognize yourself in the following

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Android developer (Kotlin) or iOS developer (Swift).You have a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in coaching and developing teams.
  • Leadership skills that create a positive, collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with SOLID, TDD, and BDD principles.
  • A keen eye for code quality and a natural preference for agile ways of working.
  • Experience with cloud and CI/CD tooling (for example AWS and TeamCity or similar).
  • Experience with C#/.NET is a nice to have, as we collaborate closely with backend teams.
