We are looking for a Solutions Architect who will play a strategic role in defining the technical direction of a self‑managed delivery team. This position requires a visionary mindset, deep technical expertise, and the ability to transform complex business needs into elegant, scalable software solutions.
This role is based in Iași, offered under a full employment contract (CIM), with a hybrid work schedule (1 day/week at the office).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders — including product owners, business analysts, and developers — to understand business needs and convert them into scalable, resilient architectural solutions
- Drive and facilitate architectural conversations within the self-organizing delivery team, offering guidance throughout user story refinement, planning sessions, and stakeholder interactions, while fostering a continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Design and document end‑to‑end solutions covering system architecture, data flows, integration touchpoints, security aspects, and performance enhancements, taking ownership of solution outcomes and embracing challenges.
- Create proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes to validate architectural choices, ensuring they align with both technical constraints and business objectives.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, advocating for best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles, and leading by example.
- Review code and technical implementations to ensure consistency with architectural guidelines and maintain high standards of quality, while promoting learning, constructive problem‑solving, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of software development experience, coupled with proven leadership in guiding technical teams.
- A strong understanding and proficiency in .NET / Golang programming languages. This allows the team lead to provide guidance and support in various technical areas.
- The ability to design and architect software systems that leverage the strengths of different programming languages. This includes understanding how to choose the right language for specific components of a project.
- Extensive experience with system architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Proven experience with designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player, adept at working in cross-functional teams and driving consensus on architectural decisions.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Involved in long-term technical and strategic planning. Often works closely with higher-level stakeholders, like technical directors, CTOs, and sometimes business leaders, to shape the company's technical vision.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, microservices architecture, and modern development methodologies.
