Hybrid working in Stockholm, Sweden
12-month contract and extendable
We are looking for a Senior DevOps & Platform Engineer for a 12-month freelance contract based in Stockholm. This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who thrives in hybrid cloud environments, enjoys automation, and can take ownership of modern DevOps platforms across development and infrastructure teams.
You will play a key role in strengthening CI/CD pipelines, optimising cloud and on-prem environments, and supporting development teams with secure, scalable, and automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise GitHub Enterprise, including Copilot
- Administer and maintain Nexus Repository
- Work hands-on with Azure infrastructure in hybrid environments
- Operate and maintain RedHat Linux environments in virtualized setups
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
- Work with AKS, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Ansible for infrastructure automation
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Monitor and operate observability platforms including Grafana, InfluxDB, and Telegraf
- Contribute to structured change management and operational best practices
Required Experience
- Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise, including Copilot
- Solid knowledge of Nexus Repository
- Proven experience in Azure environments
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and system administration, especially RedHat Linux in virtualized environments
- Experience working in hybrid IT environments
Hands-on experience with:
- AKS
- Terraform
- ArgoCD
- Ansible
- Automation scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and DevOps methodologies
- Experience operating Grafana with InfluxDB and Telegraf
- Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
Meritorious Experience
- DevSecOps experience
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, GCP
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Observability Cloud
- Understanding of ITIL and structured change management
- Experience with Jenkins and Groovy
