|About the Role

The role holder will support informed and data-driven decision making by compiling and disseminating timely, updated, and accurate data, as well as publishing relevant insights and reports. The Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for managing data reporting processes and ensuring the effective use of analytics tools and programs that align with organizational requirements. This role ensures that all data management and reporting activities are well-documented, sustainable, and compliant, thereby advancing the organization’s strategic objectives and supporting various business units with actionable insights.


|What You’ll Do

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish regular reports, dashboards, and statistical summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all data and analytics outputs.
  • Implement and manage data analytics tools, platforms, and programs in line with organization best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant data governance, privacy, and security policies.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data quality frameworks and data validation processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to business users on data analytics tools and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics, reporting, and compliance.
  • Work closely with the CBUAE data team to ensure accurate data points, update when required, and ensure the availability of a complete data set for analysis.
  • Operate the data system, prepare presentations, and conduct data analysis for finance, products, and marketing teams.
  • Act as the main focal point between AEP and the CBUAE data team.
  • Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Unitey, Takamul, Accenture) for any new data points or updates to existing data points.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual stakeholder reports covering both financial and non-financial data.
  • Coordinate between different departments—primarily Finance, Products, and Technology—from a data perspective.


|Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R).
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Office tools.
  • Strong understanding of data management, data governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
