Product Manager / Senior Product Manager – EC SaaS

Location: Quorum Locations in EMEA

Model of Work: Hybrid

Are you excited by challenges? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, international and dynamic environment? Then now is the time to join Quorum Software, a rapidly growing company and industry leader in oil & gas transformation.

Quorum Software is the world's largest provider of digital technology focused solely on business workflows that empower the next evolution of energy. From emerging companies to supermajors, throughout every region of the globe, customers rely on Quorum's proven innovation and unmatched global expertise to streamline business operations and make data-driven decisions that optimize profitability and growth. Our industry-leading solutions are transforming energy companies across the entire value chain, helping visionary leaders evolve their organizations into modern energy companies.

Quorum’s Energy Components (EC) is the worlds' leading hydrocarbon Management (HCM) software suite for production management in oil and gas. In close cooperation with our customers, we have developed a unique portfolio of integrated IT solutions that supports the whole supply chain for upstream companies within production, transport, sale and revenue.

Overview

We are looking for a full-time Product Manager to join our Products team, with a focus on the EC SaaS platform – the shared foundation that delivers EC Upstream and EC Midstream to customers as a cloud-hosted service. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, cross-product integration, and commercial go-to-market, and will report to the Group Product Manager for Energy Components.

Unlike our domain-focused PM roles, this position is less concerned with hydrocarbon accounting workflows and more with the customer-facing capabilities, subscription experience, and commercial model that make EC SaaS a compelling and scalable offering. You will work closely with the EC Upstream and EC Midstream product managers, as well as engineering, sales, and customer success teams, to ensure that the SaaS offering meets the needs of a growing and diverse global customer base.

In addition to the SaaS delivery experience, this role owns product requirements for capabilities that are shared across the EC Upstream and EC Midstream domains, such as business process automation, reporting, and analytics. This cross-cutting scope means the role acts as a natural bridge between the two domain PM roles, ensuring that shared capabilities are developed consistently and prioritized in a way that serves both segments.

A key aspect of this role is also understanding the transition journey our customers face. Many of Quorum's existing customers operate with established in-house expert departments that handle projects, enhancements, upgrades, and support themselves. Our SaaS offering must be designed to co-exist with this reality, giving customers the flexibility to retain the degree of in-house capability they choose while progressively transitioning to a fuller SaaS model over time. The right candidate will appreciate this complexity and help shape a SaaS offering that meets customers where they are, rather than requiring an abrupt handover of responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in SaaS product management, a strong understanding of cloud platform delivery, and familiarity with the Energy Components product suite.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the customer-facing aspects of the EC SaaS offering, covering areas such as onboarding, self-service capabilities, reporting, integration and data extraction, and the overall subscription experience
  • Uncover, describe, and prioritize customer needs related to the SaaS delivery mechanism, including technical requirements for reporting, integration, and data extraction, as well as support and self-service capabilities
  • Design and maintain the commercial model for the EC SaaS offering, ensuring that cost-driving usage elements are appropriately reflected in how the product is packaged and consumed
  • Own the requirements for capabilities shared across the EC Upstream and EC Midstream domains, including business process automation, reporting, and analytics, ensuring these are developed consistently and prioritized to serve both segments
  • Drive internal alignment across Sales, Services, and Support around initiatives that improve the customer experience from our SaaS solution, acting as the central coordination point for cross-functional SaaS improvement efforts
  • Define and evolve a SaaS adoption model that accommodates customers at different stages of their transition from self-hosted to SaaS, ensuring the offering supports a gradual handover of responsibilities rather than requiring customers to relinquish all in-house capability at once
  • Serve as the product focal point for the service partner enablement program, developing and maintaining the content, documentation, and processes that allow third-party service providers to successfully deliver projects, enhancements, and support to EC SaaS customers
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Owners to translate platform requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop and maintain go-to-market materials for the EC SaaS offering, including positioning, packaging, and competitive differentiation
  • Monitor platform usage, performance, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize the roadmap accordingly
  • Remain current on SaaS industry trends, cloud delivery best practices, and relevant regulatory or security requirements, and ensure the EC SaaS platform evolves accordingly
  • Work closely with the EC Upstream and EC Midstream Product Managers to ensure platform capabilities keep pace with domain-level product development
  • Evangelize the EC SaaS vision internally and externally, communicating clearly the value proposition to customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders
  • And other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or (optional) Master's degree in IT, software engineering or an adjacent technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on SaaS or cloud-delivered software products – 5+ years of hands-on experience with operating or delivering Energy Components can compensate for lack of product management experience
  • Demonstrable understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription licensing, multi-tenancy, and cloud deployment patterns
  • Experience working directly with engineering and platform teams to deliver cloud-hosted software
  • Excellent communication skills, including documentation, presentations, and interaction with stakeholders across varying backgrounds and roles
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Full-cycle product management capabilities, including roadmap development, requirements definition, release planning, and rollout strategy
  • Familiarity with data management concepts and integration patterns relevant to enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with or knowledge of the Energy Components product suite
  • Background in the oil & gas or energy industry, or experience delivering enterprise SaaS to industrial customers
  • Experience defining and managing SaaS licensing and entitlement models
  • Experience using Atlassian Jira
  • Product Management certifications (e.g. Pragmatic Institute)
