What You’ll Do
You will lead the HSE team, develop and implement site-specific HSE plans, monitor risk management, and ensure compliance with SMS, statutory requirements, and ISO standards. You will conduct inspections, organize toolbox talks, oversee training, manage high-risk activities, support audits, and report performance to project leadership.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading daily site HSE operations and acting as main HSE contact
- Coordinating the HSE team and monitoring performance
- Conducting daily site inspections and issuing safety observations
- Developing and maintaining site HSE plans, emergency procedures, and high-risk activity management
- Ensuring Daily Risk Assessments, Pre-task Planning, and Whiteboard Meetings are conducted and documented
- Organizing toolbox talks and verifying training effectiveness
- Preparing for and supporting audits by authorities, clients, and ISO
- Reporting on HSE performance and trends to project leadership
- Verifying subcontractor competency and approving training plans
- Maintaining and analyzing leading and lagging HSE indicators to drive site-specific actions
- Performing additional HSE tasks as directed
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HSE or a related discipline, and certifications such as NEBOSH IGC and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor. You have 5–8 years of experience in construction HSE, preferably on large-scale projects, and are skilled in incident investigation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and HSE training. You are a decisive, proactive leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HSE or related field
- NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, Emergency Response Training
- 5–8 years’ experience in construction HSE management
- Knowledge of construction HSE standards, incident investigation, and local regulations
- Proficiency in HSE tools and MS Office
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
You will play a key role in shaping a safe and proactive HSE culture across complex construction projects, influencing site safety performance, compliance, and project success.
