What Will Your Day Look Like?

As a Commercial / Data Analyst for the Snacks BU, you will be responsible for transforming raw sales and market data into actionable strategic insights. You will support the commercial team by tracking P&L performance, monitoring trade spend efficiency, and identifying growth opportunities across diverse territories. Your day will revolve around driving commercial productivity through advanced visualization tools and rigorous financial modelling, enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.

How Will You Make an Impact?

• Design and maintain automated Power BI dashboards across all Snacks sales channels (Retail, E-com, Gifting, Exports) to track performance and support decision-making.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales and market data to evaluate performance against targets and identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Monitor product pricing, discounts, promotions, and margin performance to ensure profitability and compliance with company guidelines
• Support forecasting and sales planning by preparing data templates, conducting variance analysis, and tracking actual vs. forecast performance at category, customer, and SKU levels.
• Audit and analyze trade promotions and distributor claims to calculate ROI and recommend optimizations to improve trade spend efficiency.
• Maintain performance dashboards using Excel or BI tools and support automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to validate data and provide insights supporting pricing, forecasting, and channel strategies.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, Finance, or Business Analytics.
• Certifications: Microsoft Power BI Certification, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate and Tableau Certification.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Sales Operations within the FMCG sector.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modelling).
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau and SAP BI.
• Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and reporting.
• Knowledge of UAE market dynamics, retail channels, and consumer trends.
