Rate of Pay: $187,741 to $225,290 per year

Duties: Design, develop, and test software applications. Design and implement algorithms for processing, analyzing, forecasting statistical/time series/spatial datasets. Ingest, clean, and visualize large-scale data, ensuring data integrity, uncertainty quantification, and efficient pipeline integration. Develop production-ready code, design real time monitoring systems, and incorporate domain specific metadata into software products using company technology stack. Apply technical knowledge to independently research complex data, developments, and projects in order to provide recommendations to resolve technical issues and make resource allocation decisions. Support the company's business operations and improve engineering productivity. Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system. Solve production issues in product and system reliability. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Geophysics, Natural Sciences, or related field.

Position Requires

  • C, Python, Go, or Java,
  • GIT;
  • SQL or MySQL;
  • Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
  • Designing technology stacks;
  • Debugging and monitoring for production services;
  • Distributed systems;
  • Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience working on projects with large data sets that require problem-solving, analytical, and research skills, including experience with algorithms, data structures, and time series.
  • Real-time data processing and monitoring .
