We're hiring a Senior Java Developer with strong Kotlin to play a key role in designing system architecture, improving code quality, and mentoring engineers while contributing to critical product initiatives. This is a 100% remote role (must be located in the US), full-time with competitive salary, bonus, 401K, and more.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize backend services using Java and Kotlin
- Lead architecture discussions and influence technical direction
- Develop clean, maintainable, testable code following best practices
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Java expertise
- Production experience with Kotlin (JVM ecosystem)
- Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience with Spring Boot, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical initiatives
