Job summary:
We are looking for a true Slot Game Designer who lives and breathes online slots.
Responsibilities:
- Full slot game concepts from scratch: theme, narrative, reel layout, math brief, feature set
- Writing structured, implementation-ready GDDs and feature specifications
- Designing base game and bonus flows (cascades, hold & win, respins, bonus buys, jackpots, metamorphosis mechanics, etc.)
- Monthly competitive analysis of Top 50 performing games
- Close daily collaboration with Game Math, Art Lead, and Product Owner
- Playtesting prototypes and identifying pacing, volatility, and engagement issues early
- Explaining clearly why a game becomes boring on spin 37 — and how to fix it
Requirements:
- 3+ years exclusively as a Slot Game Designer in real-money iGaming
- At least 5–7 commercial slot titles shipped and live
- Ability to open any Top 100 slot and break down:
* volatility behavior
* symbol distribution
* feature pacing
* retention mechanics
- Deep understanding of volatility beyond “it feels high”
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Clear, structured documentation style
