Job Description
The role is responsible for translating business requirements to end-user needs and creating intuitive and user-friendly design solutions for the platforms. The role will be involved right from defining the requirement, to design & implementation of the solution. This is a tactical role which defines the direction of new solutions, processes, standards based upon business strategy or customer need, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results.
Responsibilities
Create, evaluate, and modify prototypes to support evolving offerings to the client.
Develop user profiles with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation, and task objective analyses.
Assist in developing design concept and implementation, giving input on user design considerations & specifications describing user requirements and internal structures.
Develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigating technical problems.
Provide product usability, evaluation and support including analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction.
Project management including all deliverables (such as concepts, wireframes, interactive prototypes, specifications, etc.) engagement agreements and timelines.
Create a detailed architecture design including details on components functioning and interaction (company and other mobile operator's component) to enable seamless functioning.
Engage with vendors, industry experts for solutioning, design, security certification etc.
Desired Skill sets
Proven experience in interface design, creating mock-ups and prototypes.
Proven experience as a UX designer
Background in project management and research
Proficient in design software (e.g., UXPin, Balsamiq)
