The Senior Scrum Master is responsible for guiding and supporting multiple Agile teams operating within a blended Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Agile delivery practices, driving organizational Agile transformation, and ensuring effective collaboration between India based teams and US stakeholders. The Senior Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, ensuring teams operate with discipline, predictability, and continuous improvement, aligned with expectations.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Scrum Master is responsible for guiding and supporting multiple Agile teams operating within a blended Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Agile delivery practices, driving organizational Agile transformation, and ensuring effective collaboration between India based teams and US stakeholders. The Senior Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, ensuring teams operate with discipline, predictability, and continuous improvement, aligned with expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multiple Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile and SAFe practices.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies in a structured, time‑boxed, and outcome‑driven manner.
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, and US‑based leadership to ensure alignment of priorities, backlog readiness, and delivery expectations.
- Identify and remove impediments, escalate risks, and ensure continuous flow of value.
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and provide coaching at the team and program level.
- Maintain delivery KPIs and support governance, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Promote strong communication, transparency, and collaboration across distributed teams.
- 5–8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Agile transformation across multi‑team environments.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including distributed and cross‑functional groups.
