Join a leading financial institution as a Senior UI Engineer and be part of a greenfield project within the Markets team. This exciting opportunity involves rebuilding a legacy trading platform and transforming it into a modern, scalable solution hosted on AWS, with a front-end built in React.

You will play a key role in creating a reusable component library as part of a new design system, working closely with the Markets team to enhance the platform's scalability, usability, and performance. This is a chance to build a cutting-edge trading platform from the ground up and shape the future of digital trading.



Key Responsibilities

As a Senior UI Engineer, you will develop and implement UI components using React.js, collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, BAs, and testers to design and ship new features. You'll build reusable components and front-end libraries, translating designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code. Your work will include optimizing components for maximum performance across web browsers, ensuring secure and modern solutions through best practices, and deploying applications on AWS Cloud. Additionally, you'll actively participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and troubleshooting activities while staying up-to-date with industry trends. Writing clean, efficient code will be at the core of your contributions.



Your Experience and Skills

  • 7+ years' experience as a Senior UI Engineer or similar role.

  • Proficiency in React.js (including workflows like Redux) and Node.js.

  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Java, and RESTful APIs.

  • Familiarity with JWT and other modern authorization mechanisms.

  • Solid understanding of front-end build tools, pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Proven experience deploying and hosting applications using AWS serverless services (e.g., Lambda).

  • Strong debugging, optimization, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized applications, and cloud implementations (AWS/GCP).

  • Familiarity with tools like OpenTelemetry, Lightstep, and Kafka.

  • Ability to write unit, integration, and non-functional tests.
