In this Assistant Vice President (AVP) level role, you will act as a critical bridge between technical delivery teams and senior business stakeholders. You will move beyond basic facilitation, leveraging deep Agile expertise to optimize flow, mitigate enterprise-level risks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across high-visibility digital projects.
The Role
- Facilitate core Scrum events (Sprints, Reviews, Retrospectives) ensuring they are productive, timeboxed, and focused on iterative value delivery.
- Optimize team flow by identifying and removing complex bottlenecks, utilizing data-driven metrics to make all work visible and predictable.
- Shield the squad from external interruptions and escalate technical or resource risks to ensure consistent iteration execution.
- Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured Agile transformations, deputising 'in the moment' leadership when required.
- Maintain high standards of Governance and Reporting, ensuring data quality and representation at major digital transformation forums.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach within a complex Technical Change Delivery environment.
- Strong mastery of Agile Delivery frameworks and the ability to coach teams on core Agile attributes and principles.
- Expert Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to influence decision-making and build trust with senior Product and Business leaders.
- Solid understanding of Risk Management and Controls within a highly regulated financial or enterprise software setting.
- Experience driving Digital and Technology transformations, with a focus on business acumen and strategic thinking.
