A high-growth, venture-backed health tech company is expanding its mobile capability and looking for a Senior or Staff Mobile Engineer to help shape the next phase of its platform.

Whether your background is Android or iOS, this is an opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role where you will influence architecture, elevate engineering standards, and contribute to a broader cross-platform strategy as the business explores Kotlin Multiplatform and React Native.

This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership and product delivery.

You will take ownership of complex features from discovery through to release, working closely with product and design to deliver intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences. At the same time, you will contribute to strategic platform decisions as the team evolves toward a more unified cross-platform approach.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end delivery of native mobile features
• Contributing to architectural direction and platform evolution
• Improving performance, stability, and overall user experience
• Elevating engineering practices across testing, CI/CD, and documentation
• Mentoring engineers and fostering a strong mobile culture
• Collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced product environment

What You’ll Bring

• Strong commercial experience building native mobile applications (Kotlin for Android or Swift for iOS)
• Deep understanding of modern mobile architecture patterns
• Experience with asynchronous programming and reactive frameworks
• Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Interest in or experience with cross-platform technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform or React Native
• Leadership capability with a pragmatic, collaborative mindset
