Have you ever had a personal crisis and still shown up at work? An argument at home or a worry you couldn’t switch off. You still logged in, attended meetings, and delivered what the day asked of you.
Hundreds of millions of people do this every day.
We are expected to leave our personal lives at the door when we sit down to work, as if the mind can neatly separate pressure, stress, and performance.
At Walk The Dragon, we believe this expectation is unrealistic.
We also believe something else. Burnout does not arrive suddenly. It builds quietly, over time, long before someone breaks down. If we can recognise cognitive overload early, we can help reduce it before it turns into harm.
Walk The Dragon is grounded in a simple truth: what happens at home shows up at work, and what happens at work follows you home.
We are an Australian startup in the process of rolling out the world’s first enterprise wellness platform. It is designed for the whole human being, not just the version that clocks in and out.
Founded by Om Swami, a serial entrepreneur, a monk with over 15,000 hours of meditation under his belt, and an international author of 17 books, we are a small team of passionate dragons who understand cognitive wellbeing at a depth few organisations ever reach.
Our mission is simple and practical. We help individuals recognise cognitive overload early and reduce it, so they can operate at their optimum in a sustainable way, both at work and in life.
We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager.
This is not a strategy-only role. It is a build, measure, learn role.
You will run sprints, plan releases, study customer behaviour, analyse funnels, and design experiments. Day to day, you will be asking one simple but important question: Is this genuinely helping someone before they reach overload?
This role reports to Executive Leadership (Head of Product and Marketing) and works closely with engineering and design.
You have a strong sense of craftsmanship and ownership, along with a deep respect for the customer.
You care about how people actually use a product — where they hesitate, where they drop off, and what brings them back. You use data to understand behaviour and improve outcomes, not to hide behind dashboards.
You enjoy execution and take responsibility for results. Most importantly, you want your work to create real and measurable impact in people’s lives. Experience in Enterprise SaaS is preferred. Experience in wellbeing or mental health is a bonus.
In a nutshell, you are a seasoned professional who has experience in:
- Owning the product roadmap and priorities
- Building and optimising funnels across onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention
- Running sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives
- Owning end-to-end product delivery with engineering and design
- Translating business requirements and insight into clear product direction
- Working in startups, scale-ups, or high-ownership organisations
- Balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Making decisions and being accountable for outcomes
This is a full-time, office-based role in Sydney CBD (60 Martin Place). Immediate start is preferred. We offer competitive remuneration, a strong team, and an opportunity to be part of an extraordinary growth journey.
If this is you, light up our inbox with something out of the box. Include a cover letter along with your resume telling us how you think, what you bring, and how you would approach this role.
