About The Role
Supported by the Remote Development Manager – Lajamanu, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of AFL programs in Lajamanu.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
- Support the Remote Development Manager to deliver Youth and School AFL competitions and Carnivals in Lajamanu and Surrounding areas.
- Support the Remote Development Manager to deliver the Kiwinyi League and Carnivals in Lajamanu and Surrounding areas
- Delivering AFL participation programs – including Auskick, Superkick, NINES and school programs
- Support the Remote Development Manager to support the local men’s and women’s teams in Lajamanu to be ready for the BRFL.
- Conduct football promotions from time to time
- Record basic data
- Support the engagement of youth in talent programs.
- Attend and Support Carnivals outside of Lajamanu from time to time
- Support the Remote Development Manager to Support the Local AFL Club in Lajamanu.
- A fun and enthusiastic nature with a passion for working with youth
- Dedicated to work and reliable
- Strong communication skills with a variety of people
- Hold an Ochre Card (Working With Children Check) or have the ability to obtain
- Interested in AFL
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply
- Must Live in Lajamanu Community
