Role: Tech PM

Location: Sydney

Contract: A$ 600/day incl sup


Key accountabilities

  • Manage and deliver the projects within the applicable governance framework.
  • Manage, engage, and influence stakeholders from across the organisation to improve Operational Technology (OT) deliveries.
  • Manage the full pipeline of OT projects and enhancement/transformation initiatives throughout the full life cycle.
  • Build effective strategic and working relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of information, analysis and commentary on scope control, risks. issues and requirements
  • Foster and facilitate collaboration across the organisation
  • Prepare scope and business cases for more ambiguous or complex projects including cost and resource impacts
  • Access key subject-matter experts’ knowledge to inform project plans and directions
  • Implement effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategy for all stages of projects
  • Monitor the completion of projects and implement effective and rigorous project evaluation methodologies to inform future planning
  • Develop effective strategies to remedy variances from project plans, and minimise impacts
  • Manage transitions between project stages and ensure that changes are consistent with organisational goal

 

Essential requirements/capabilities:

  • PMP/Prince2 certified (or equivalent), and SAFe Agilist/Prince2 Agile foundation/practitioner
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in complex operational technologies delivery (including edge devices integration to IoT/AIoT, upliftment of MS Azure/AWS based platform using tools & technologies like Databricks, DevOps, Power BI)
  • Good communication and writing skills (including experience of using mural boards, confluence pages, jira, and azure devops boards)
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience across, govt./public/private sector in Australia
