The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a high-impact private sector program with a global leader in secure communications and satellite technologies. This Sydney-based role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, BGP routing, and cloud configuration management.


You’ll be part of a secure, NV1-cleared environment, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimisation of network infrastructure across hybrid cloud platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade network solutions with a focus on Palo Alto and BGP.
  • Lead configuration management and automation across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimise performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and compliance.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and support change management processes.


What You’ll Need

  • Demonstrated experience as a Network Engineer in secure ICT or enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls, BGP, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Australian Citizenship with an active NV1 security clearance.
