For an internationally active, technology-driven investment firm in Vienna, we are building a highly selective in-house research function focused on identifying the top 0.1% of quantitative talent globally.

This is not a traditional HR role.

This is a high-precision research position requiring analytical sharpness, intellectual rigor and uncompromising standards.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and engage exceptional quantitative researchers, PhDs and top-tier analysts (EU / US)
  • Rigorously analyze CVs with investment-level precision
  • Rank and filter candidates under strict excellence criteria
  • Build long-term pipelines with strong Vienna / EU retention logic
  • Work closely with the investment team to understand performance drivers
  • Develop sourcing strategies beyond standard LinkedIn outreach

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Research-heavy recruiting background or
  • Finance / Quant background with exposure to talent selection
  • Exceptional attention to detail (you spot inconsistencies immediately)
  • Strong pattern recognition (institutional quality, academic pedigree, brand relevance)
  • Decisiveness under time pressure
  • Ownership mindset & intellectual curiosity
