Project Context

A leading financial institution is looking for a Data Scientist to support the migration of its Data Warehouse to a cloud-based environment.

The project focuses on modernizing existing analytical and BI tooling, converting legacy solutions into R and Python-based programs, ensuring proper documentation, and defining and executing testing procedures as part of the broader data platform transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert existing tools and processes into R and Python programs
• Ensure clear documentation of developed solutions
• Define and execute test plans to validate migrated components
• Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across data and business teams
• Contribute to the successful migration of Data Warehouse capabilities to the cloud

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in R and Python
• Experience working with Databricks
• Good knowledge of SQL and SAS
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience using programming languages for BI or analytical reporting

Functional Skills

• Strong collaboration skills in multi-stakeholder environments
• Solid documentation capabilities
• Ability to define and execute test plans independently
• Professional proficiency in English plus French and/or Dutch
