Senior Network Security Engineer (M/F/X)

As part of our digital and data transformation activities, we are strengthening our IT teams and are currently involved in large-scale initiatives focused on data transformation and digital modernization.

Our experienced IT professionals manage multidisciplinary projects in complex and evolving environments.

Proven expert in network automation and security, with hands-on experience in Ansible, scripting, and syslog management. Highly skilled in designing and maintaining advanced security layers including WAF, SSL VPN, proxies, and load balancers to ensure robust, scalable, and secure infrastructures.

To support the team, you may take the lead on all or part of the following responsibilities:

• You will operate in a team supporting the company activities which run 24/7
• You will operate in an IT and OT environment, and are as such very diligent in preparing and executing changes
• You will participate in the deployment and maintenance of OT and IT systems
• You support our colleagues both in BE and other parts of Europe
• You are well versed in the different aspects of networking (routing, switching, software, ….) and like to work with all of these

• YOUR PROFILE

You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and demonstrate strong experience in network security and infrastructure. 

• In depth firewall knowledge (Checkpoint is must)

• Understanding of routing and switching protocols; OSFP, ISIS, MST, …

• Experience with cloud technologies

• Experience with Cisco Wireless

• You have worked with python and/or ansible for automation

• You have knowledge of backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, ...

• Fluent in French or Dutch
• Fluent in English

Compensation will depend on your years of experience and the specificity of your technical expertise.
