Our client is part of a leading digital group and is building a modern mobile banking platform with the goal of setting new standards in mobile banking. To support this growth, our client is looking for a Team Lead PHP Software Development who is motivated to actively contribute to the further development of a digital banking platform.

This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for modern software development who enjoy a hands-on approach and are eager to lead and develop a team in a dynamic environment.

Location: Germany, Frankfurt

Type of contract: permanent, on-site (1 day home office)

You Will:

• lead your development team both technically and disciplinarily, and promote a cooperative, modern team culture.
• continuously develop your team – through mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback.
• design sustainable technical standards, conventions, and scalable software and system architectures.
• develop and optimize processes and ensure effective automation.
• be actively involved in the development of new features as well as the further development of existing features to a high standard.
• assume overall responsibility for the IT system landscape of your area – from software and servers to availability.

Requirements

• You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience as a senior developer or software architect and demonstrable leadership experience.
• You have very good knowledge of object-oriented PHP development and are proficient in using Symfony.
• You bring sound MySQL knowledge as well as good experience in Linux/Debian administration.
• Ideally, you have experience with Ansible and automation processes.
• You enjoy working hands-on, are motivated, and have a passion for modern software development.
• Excellent German and English skills.
