We are seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic startup in the robotics domain. In this role you will play a critical role in shaping the user interface for our high-level robot software platform. This platform enables system integrators and operators to program robots and create automation solutions with ease and efficiency. We are seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic startup in the robotics domain. In this role you will play a critical role in shaping the user interface for our high-level robot software platform. Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our software development teams to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our robot software platform
- User experience: Apply various UX design techniques. We use user stories, personas, customer journey mapping, and are open to additional methods from your experience.
- Ability to work with complex data and inputs: Cluster and structure information together with the design and product team.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and preferences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Develop a consistent design language and visual style guide aligned with our brand identity and usability best practices.
- Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback, incorporating usability principles and industry trends.
- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, UI/UX techniques, and emerging technologies in the robotics domain.
- Advocate for the user by championing user-centered design principles and ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in the user interface.
- Create animations to visualize workflows and processes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer in an agency or corporate environment (post-graduation).
- Strong interest in robotics and the automation industry.
- Experience designing B2B products in an industrial or robotics context.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
- Self-motivated and agile learner.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present design concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Professional-level English proficiency.
