Job Description



Network & Infrastructure Specialist

You will be part of the Software Testing Team in Germany . You will be a Network and Infrastructure specialist, enable high‑quality, secure, and reliable software solutions by designing, executing, and automating test environments with a strong focus on networks and virtualization in the Hospital Patient Monitoring - HPM (currently working in multiparameter monitors and obstetrics).


Your role:

  • As part of the Software Testing Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our solutions across complex networked environments.
  • You will help shape the quality of solutions by defining test strategies, building test setups, and driving automation initiatives that support our development lifecycle
  • You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—software development, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and product owners—while serving as a key technical contributor on network design, virtualization management, and test execution.
  • This role also offers strong growth opportunities in advanced testing methodologies, ISTQB certification paths, and broad exposure to complex system architectures


You're the right fit if:

  • Your skills include strong network expertise (TCP, UDP, multicast), network topology understanding, and configuration of DHCP, DNS, and NTP environments. You can design network setups (IP ranges, gateways, WLAN).
  • You have hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare and Microsoft), including installation, maintenance, and support of virtualized infrastructures, storage, and virtual machine creation
  • You bring knowledge in cybersecurity fundamentals, test automation (e.g., Gherkin frameworks), PC troubleshooting, and support for networked software solutions
  • You’re a practitioner with solid experience in networks and virtualization, with basic programming and security awareness.
  • You bring practical knowledge in test planning, setup, execution, and long‑term software testing, including patch, stability, and PC‑based application validation.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and DevOps
  • Advanced spoken and written English
  • CCNA certification is desirable
  • ISTQB/BSTQB training or certification is a plus
