Role: – Transport IP Design ( B2-1 )

Role Overview:

The Mobile Site Access Planning Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing connectivity solutions for mobile sites - Planning, commissioning and supervision of the implementation of complex trail planning in the mobile network segment.

This role involves leveraging licensed and proprietary fiber access, planning cell site gateways, and ensuring optimal technology and bandwidth utilization for seamless connectivity to the nearest network Hub.

• Key Responsibilities: Prepare and execute commissioning for CSD/MSD swaps, including MPLS switch upgrades (e.g., Nokia 7705 to 7250IXR-e).
• Perform feasibility checks in Cramer Mobile/Fixed systems
• Coordinate BTN readiness with multiple stakeholders to meet SLA targets.
• Compare actual network views with planning status and identify necessary hardware adjustments and prerequisites.
• Communicate updates via email and Ticketing system to relevant teams.
• Identify and build CSD/MSD requirements in Cramer Fixed at correct locations.
• Determine SFP module variants for connection points.
• Prepare and execute commissioning for CSD/MSD swaps, including MPLS switch upgrades (e.g., Nokia 7705 to 7250IXR-e).
• Summarize all planning and readiness information in Ticketing systems.
• Prepare full-IP templates and update Ticketing systems for switchover activities.
• Ensure preparations for bandwidth increase are documented and entered in Ticketing Systems.
• Collaborate with partners for effective utilization of tail circuits, hardware resources, and infrastructure.
• Monitor quality and performance during live network implementation.

Skills and other Qualities:

• Strong knowledge of IP-based transmission networks, MPLS and other protocols.
• Experience with Cramer Mobile/Fixed, Ticketing systems, Remedy and BTN processes
• Should have hands on experience using the Huawei U2000 Manager
• SDH/DWDM, Ethernet over SDH(EoSDH) Technology and Platform knowledge
• Ability to perform feasibility checks, capacity planning, and commissioning activities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications & Effective Communication Skills - Written & Verbal
• Coordination skills and taking the right approach logically
• Exposure to International client facing functions

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Any Grad/Or Equivalent
• Language: English (Proficient), German (Proficient)
• Relevant domain certifications advantage
• Past experience in Cramer Inventory system -must
