Principal Engineer – React / AI-Enabled Development

The Opportunity

This is a senior-level engineering role focused on leading front-end architecture while advancing AI-assisted software development practices. You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, delivering new features from an ambitious roadmap, and maintaining high-quality standards across existing applications.

Key Experience Required

• 5+ years’ software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of UI design principles, UX best practices, typography, layouts, and interaction design
• Experience working with AI-assisted development workflows, including prompt engineering and automated code validation
• Exposure to orchestration tools and AI-driven SDLC processes
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Strong unit testing experience (Jest or Vitest) with knowledge of React Testing Library
• Solid understanding of responsive cross-browser CSS, SASS, and CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g. styled-components or emotion)
• Experience using NPM, modern build tools, and bundlers such as Vite
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and reusable component design
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of new features and enhancements
• Own and evolve front-end architecture to support scalable, high-quality releases
• Contribute across the full AI-enabled software development lifecycle
• Drive high coding standards with strong emphasis on usability, quality, and automated testing
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting responsible and secure use of AI tools
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and cross-functional teams in an agile environment
• Contribute to architectural decisions, coding standards, and long-term technical strategy
