Product Portfolio & Process Manager (Contract)


We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Product Operations professional to take ownership of demand management and portfolio governance across our technology product portfolio.

In this role, you will ensure that all proposals are assessed, prioritised, and decision-ready, while providing clear visibility of portfolio priorities, capacity, and risks.

You will chair key governance and product review meetings, track actions, and hold stakeholders accountable, enabling Product Managers and technical teams to focus on delivering value.

This is an individual contributor role where your expertise in process, prioritisation, and structured decision-making will directly improve how our product organisation operates.


This is a 6-month contract with strong chances of extension, offering the opportunity to work on complex products in a fast-paced technology environment.

*Upwards of 700 per day


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end demand intake and prioritisation process
  • Chair governance and product review meetings with confidence and authority
  • Ensure proposals are decision-ready and discussions are structured and outcome-focused
  • Track actions and ensure accountability across stakeholders
  • Challenge technical designs and commercial decisions where appropriate
  • Provide clear visibility of portfolio priorities, capacity and risks
  • Support product leaders in making transparent, well-evidenced decisions


Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience running demand management, portfolio governance, PMO or product operations processes
  • Strong background in IT and technology environments (technology expertise essential)
  • Comfortable participating in architecture and product review discussions
  • Commercially aware, able to question value and trade-offs
  • Highly organised, articulate and confident facilitating senior forums
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and able to work cross-functionally
