The Message Orchestration team at Omnisend enables merchants to create seamless, scalable, and automated marketing workflows across multiple channels (email, SMS, push notifications). Our solutions streamline and automate sequences of actions triggered by specific events in the merchant's store, enabling timely, personalized communication with customers without manual intervention.

We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer focused on backend development. Proactive, product-minded individuals who are enthusiastic about crafting impactful software products will thrive at Omnisend. If you’re passionate about building scalable, high-impact systems that drive customer engagement, we’d love to have you on our team!

What you’ll do @Omnisend:


  • Contribute significantly to product development decisions
  • Design, develop, and test features
  • Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
  • Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Share best practices with team members


We expect that you’ll bring:


  • Hands-on experience (3+ years)
  • Customer centricity
  • Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language, with the willingness to learn Golang
  • Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools
  • Proficiency in any database
  • Experience with real-time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub
  • Working experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend, we use Google Cloud Services)
