We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Cloud & DevOps Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Contributing to cloud platform reliability and resilience as part of the team dedicated to the replatforming of the information systems support;
- Modernizing existing applications while ensuring service continuity - legacy systems hosted in data centres as well as systems hosted in AWS, Azure and other Cloud providers;
- Designing solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, as well as vendor-agnostic solutions;
- Designing software architecture and integration strategies;
- Designing system integrations and ensuring seamless connectivity across platforms;
- Implementing common integration patterns and best practices (e.g., publish-subscribe, request-reply, event-driven architecture);
- Designing and Integration of CI/CD pipelines with cloud-hosted systems;
- Designing standardized APIs for enabling data exchange and interoperability;
- Working with database systems (Oracle PostgreSQL) and crafting migration paths;
- Document architecture and integration plans clearly and effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or computing combined with relevant IT professional experience of 8 years;
- At least 5 years of experience in DevSecOps / DevOps;
- At least 5 years of experience in designing system integrations and architecting seamless connectivity across platforms, using middleware solutions for system integration and designing solutions that optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability;
- At least 6 years of experience in designing, integrating, and developing standardized RESTful APIs, under OpenAPI or similar;
- At least 5 years of experience in technical debt resolution and modernization of legacy applications (e.g. Java version upgrades);
- At least 5 years of experience in designing API versioning strategies;
- At least 5 years of experience in Agile/ Scrum;
- At least 4 years of experience with Kafka / Azure Service Bus;
- At least 4 years of experience securing applications under security standards (OWASP)
- At least 2 years of experience in Credential management and using secrets management tools and key management systems;
- At least 7 years of experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle);
- At least 2 years of experience in database migration;
- At least 3 years of experience with transformation and mapping tools for data consistency and interoperability;
- At least 3 years of experience with containerizing applications (Docker);
- At least 4 years of experience with CI/CD practices for automated testing, integration, and deployment;
- At least 4 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code;
- At least 6 years of experience with GIT code repositories and delivery processes; GitLab;
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and SaaS and CaaS hosting services;
- At least 4 years of experience with integration health and performance monitoring with tools like Splunk ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry;
- At least 6 years of experience in documenting architecture and integration plans;
- At least 5 years of experience in Implementing common integration patterns and best practices (e.g., publish-subscribe, request-reply, event-driven architecture) as well as implementing strategies for fault tolerance, retry mechanisms, and circuit breakers in integration flows;
- At least 6 years of experience in managing and leading projects from an integration standpoint, ensuring alignment with project goals as well as creating mid- and long-term roadmaps, effort estimations;
- Following certifications are mandatory for the performance of tasks: At least one Microsoft Azure certification at Expert level, Microsoft Certified: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions - demonstrates advanced DevOps architecture, automation, and governance skills and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or equivalent hyperscale certification);
- Excellent command of the English language and good knowledge of French (Level B2 or native).
