ClubTrust has been mandated by a fast-growing technology group to recruit a Head of Compliance & RC for its Luxembourg entity. The group operates a large-scale digital ecosystem across Europe and has expanded into regulated payments.
About the Role
This is a senior leadership role within a high-growth, tech-driven environment. You will lead the Compliance function (second line of defence) under CSSF supervision and act as the primary regulatory contact locally. You will structure a scalable Compliance framework aligned with Group standards while supporting business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and structure the Compliance function, including the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Act as primary contact for the CSSF (regulatory reporting, supervisory interactions).
- Implement and oversee policies, procedures and controls in line with PSD2/PSD3, AMLD, DORA and consumer protection frameworks.
- Build and manage the local Compliance team.
- Ensure alignment with Group Compliance while maintaining local accountability.
- Deliver clear reporting to senior management and governance bodies.
- Support product and operations through a risk-based, compliance-by-design approach.
- Oversee regulatory change and contribute to large-scale operational projects involving significant transaction volumes.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of Compliance experience within EU regulated financial services, ideally EMI, PSP or fintech.
- Experience as RC or deputy RC within a CSSF-supervised entity preferred.
- Strong regulator-facing track record.
- Solid knowledge of EU payments and AML frameworks.
- Comfortable in high-volume, technology-driven environments.
- Data-driven, pragmatic and business-oriented.
- Fluent English required.
