Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the system engineering team
- Positively influence projects teams to participate in system design activities
- Develop system engineering process knowledge, documentation and contribute to the QMS
- Be responsible for products’ system development consistency and coherency
- Coordinating technical activities with customers, partners, project teams and suppliers
- Prepare documentation according to applied space engineering standards
- Establish and manage requirements at all levels
- Manage internal and external interfaces (payload, ground segment, launcher, etc)
- Define analyses boundary conditions and validate reports
- Perform trade-offs analyses
- Define integration, verification and validation plan
- Experience in Space Telecommunication Engineering
- ESA documentation experience & ECSS
- Experience with functional analysis/specification tools
- Experience with requirements writing and management
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fundamental skills in Telecommunication and Electronics
- Basic skills in FPGA (SW/FW), Mechanics, Thermal
- Provide a fresh approach and when appropriate question existing procedures, tools and methods with out of the box approach when relevant.
- Strong quality awareness will be appreciated
- Master of Science degree is required (preferably in Telecommunication, Electronics, Software)
- Previous experience in systems engineering (space application preferred)
- Over 5 years relevant experience required
- Synthetic, coherent and consistent mindset
- Excellent team-working skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory, French or German are strong assets
