Your role 💼

We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer – Microsoft M365 Security with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 security technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize security controls across Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, and related M365 platforms. You will play a key role in advancing our Zero Trust strategy, protecting endpoints, identities, and data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.

• Implement, configure, and optimize Microsoft Defender (AV, EDR/XDR) across endpoints, identities, and cloud workloads.
• Support and enhance Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) use cases, detection rules, and automation playbooks.
• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Purview solutions for data classification, DLP, and compliance monitoring.
• Strengthen identity security through Entra ID, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Zero Trust controls.
• Conduct security posture assessments and contribute to remediation roadmaps.
• Support incident response activities, perform root cause analysis, and improve detection capabilities.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements applicable to financial institutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and security recommendations for both technical and management stakeholders.

Requirements 💡

• Minimum 5 years of experience in security engineering or security consulting, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

Hands-on expertise in:

• Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, XDR)
• Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR)
• Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, DLP, Compliance)
• Entra ID (IAM, Conditional Access, Identity Protection)
• Microsoft Intune (Device Compliance & Endpoint Management)

Strong understanding of:

• Zero Trust security principles
• Identity and endpoint protection strategies
• Incident response and threat detection methodologies
• Risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks in the banking sector

Experience working in enterprise and regulated environments.

Ability to communicate complex security topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Microsoft security certifications (e.g., SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300) are considered a strong advantage.
• Fluency in two of the following languages: French, English, Italian.
