ING is focusing on enhancing digital sales with advanced analytics and machine learning. As a Data Analyst, you'll work with ING's Global Analytics Team to prepare high-quality datasets for propensity-to-buy models, helping to drive personalized marketing and improve conversion rates. You'll act as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring datasets are business-ready.
Key responsibilities:
- Explore data sources and ensure data quality.
- Prepare datasets for model development and build reliable data pipelines.
- Translate business needs into actionable data.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with ING’s data privacy and governance standards.
Requirements
Required skills:
- Strong SQL skills and experience with analytical pipelines (e.g., Databricks, BigQuery, SAS, Oracle).
- Proven experience preparing data for DS/ML use cases (e.g., propensity, churn, CLV).
- Familiarity with ING data systems, especially DM_CAN.
- Ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Python/SAS is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience in model building and Data Science.
- Understanding of Business Banking products (accounts, payments, lending, etc.).
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks and MLOps/DS governance.

Terms and conditions:
- A salary range up to € 5.000.00 based on 36 hours per week, depending on experience.
