Senior IT Project Manager

The main mission is to ensure the execution and completion of two parallel transitions that are already designed and agreed:

- SAP IMS transition from current Managed Service Provider to new MSP, on AWS infrastructure.

- SAP AMS transition from internal SAP team to the MSP, plus coordination of IT Corporate Applications (non-SAP) transition activities where in scope with the explicit objective of freeing internal capacity for the ERP Transformation.

This is an execution & control role: ensuring the agreed transition approach is delivered and managing delivery via Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and PPM tool.

Responsibilities

• Governance, PMO controls and application of IT Project Management framework to control delivery, including:

- SteerCo cadence (preparation, decisions, minutes, actions)

- Phase gate readiness and approvals (packs, evidence, signoffs)

- Integrated planning, dependency management, RAID, change control

- Project and budget planning including forecasting and transparent tracking of external effort/costs

• Execution management with Jira / Confluence / JSM / PPM
• Execute SAP IMS Transition:
• Execute SAP AMS Transition (Internal SAP team to MSP) and enable ERP Transformation capacity
• ERP Transformation Delivery Interface & Operational Readiness (RFQ alignment / enablement):

- Act as the single day-to-day delivery interface between the Business Project Manager, the System Integrator(s) delivering the S/4HANA program, and internal SAP team, ensuring aligned priorities, decisions, and execution cadence across all parties.

- Translate the RFQ scope and timeline into a joint integrated plan

- Drive phase-gate and deliverable readiness across Business, SI(s) and internal SAP (evidence packs, signoffs, action tracking), ensuring timely escalation and decision-making to protect the firm September 2027 go-live.

- Ensure cross-stream readiness for key RFQ deliverables that heavily impact operations

- Orchestrate cutover and post-go-live readiness topics

Qualifications & experience

• Engineering / IT degree (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of IT project management experience with proven hands-on execution (work package-level control, RAID, cutover readiness, acceptance evidence)
• Must have: Hands-on delivery experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (GROW / Cloud ERP) in a greenfield implementation context, ideally having led or co-led key phases such as:

- Fit-to-standard workshops and backlog/control of scope

- SAP Activate delivery governance and phase gate management

- Testing cycles (SIT/UAT), defect triage governance, and readiness tracking

- Data migration coordination and cutover planning/execution oversight

- Hypercare setup and transition to steady-state support

• Strong understanding of operability for S/4HANA Public Cloud in a corporate landscape: integrations/interfaces, identity/access, release management, monitoring, and ITSM alignment.
• Proven experience executing MSP transitions (implementation of pre-defined transition approach, KT completion, cutover, stabilization, service acceptance), across SAP + IT Corporate Applications (non-SAP).
• Solid exposure to SAP ECC landscapes (to manage coexistence/transition realities) and credibility with SAP technical/functional stakeholders.
• Strong working experience using Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and PPM tooling to run delivery execution, reporting, and evidence-based phase gates.
