Senior IT Project Manager – SAP Transitions & ERP Transformation

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

RJC are partnered with a financial services provider seeking a hands-on Senior IT Project Manager to lead the execution of two parallel SAP transitions and ensure alignment with a major ERP Transformation program.

Your Mission

Own execution and control of two approved transitions:

• SAP IMS: Transition of Infrastructure Management Services to a new MSP on AWS.
• SAP AMS: Transition of Application Management Services from the internal SAP team to the MSP, including coordination of selected non-SAP corporate applications.

The objective is to ensure stable service continuity while freeing internal capacity for the ERP Transformation (S/4HANA) program.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Delivery Control

• Apply the established IT Project Management framework (SteerCo, phase gates, RAID, change control).
• Manage integrated planning, dependencies, and transparent budget tracking.

Execution Management

• Drive delivery via Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and PPM (Keto).
• Ensure accountability across internal teams, current and new MSPs, and vendors.

SAP IMS & AMS Transitions

• Execute defined transition plans, ensuring milestones, acceptance criteria, and operational stability.
• Proactively manage RAID, remove blockers, and escalate early when required.

ERP Transformation Interface & Readiness

• Act as the delivery interface between Business PM, System Integrator(s), and internal SAP team.
• Align RFQ scope with integrated milestones, dependencies, and decision points.
• Ensure operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and BAU enablement.
