We're hiring: Data Analyst -- Purchasing | Hybrid Pitești/Remote

About the company:

A global Tier-1 automotive supplier with 150+ manufacturing plants across 28 countries, specializing in exterior systems, lighting, and clean energy solutions (including hydrogen & electrification). A well-established, innovation-driven group with an international team and long-term projects.

Role overview:

You will own the Power BI ecosystem for the purchasing function, building and maintaining dashboards, ensuring data quality across ERP and supplier sources, and turning procurement data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.

What you'll work on:

Power BI Management:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for purchasing KPIs;
• Ensure data models are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings;
• Support strategic sourcing decisions with data-driven insights;
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and cross-functional teams.

Data Cleansing & Quality Assurance:

• Clean, validate, and enrich data from multiple sources (ERP, supplier databases, etc.);
• Monitor data quality and implement controls to ensure accuracy and consistency;
• Work closely with IT and procurement teams to resolve data issues.

Collaboration & Support:

• Act as a key liaison between purchasing, finance, and IT teams;
• Provide training and support to users on Power BI and data tools;
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in data management and analytics.

Tech stack:

→ Power BI (required);

→ SQL (required);

→ Excel (required);

→ SAP / Oracle ERP (strong plus);

→ Python or R (nice to have).

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in data analysis, ideally in procurement or supply chain;

• Strong data modeling skills and attention to data quality;

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions;

• BSc in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain or related field.
