Soundtrack is a B2B scale-up company providing music streaming services for businesses. We serve small customers like the café around the corner, and much bigger brands like Joe & the Juice, Toni & Guy and TAG Heuer. On the inside, we're a bunch of talented, motivated and humble designers, engineers and music experts. We believe in product-led growth, where the product is the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion and expansion.
The Role
We’re looking for a Product Designer (UI-focused) to join our Product Experience team at Soundtrack. You’ll play a key role in elevating the visual quality and usability of our core product, our web application and app used by customers every day.
This role is UI-heavy but grounded in strong product thinking. You’ll work end-to-end, from early discovery and concept exploration to delivering polished, production-ready design in close collaboration with engineers. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just refine ideas, but actively shapes them.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Team Lead, Tech Lead, UX Designer and frontend developers, contributing to both larger product initiatives and continuous product improvements.
This is a permanent role based in Stockholm. We work hybrid, with at least two days per week from the office, with Mondays as our main team day.
Responsibilities
- Participate in product planning and discovery together with product and engineering
- Explore ideas and translate user needs and business goals into clear design solutions
- Create concepts, high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Deliver high-quality UI and ensure strong visual execution across the product
- Take designs all the way to implementation in close collaboration with frontend developers
- Contribute to and evolve our design system
- Drive visual consistency and raise the overall design quality in the team
- Work across both larger product initiatives and smaller, iterative improvements
You are a strong visual product designer who enjoys owning the full journey from idea to shipped solution. You’re confident in your craft, comfortable in discussions, and enjoy being an active contributor in a collaborative product team.
You don’t just make things look good. You create thoughtful, structured and scalable solutions that improve the product experience. You’re proactive, self-driven and comfortable working closely with developers to ensure quality in implementation.
You value in-person collaboration and want to be part of shaping both the product and the team culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UI Designer
- Experience designing apps and/or web applications, not only marketing or campaign sites
- Proven experience taking design from concept to shipped product
- Proficiency in Figma
- Comfortable working closely with engineers in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive your own work
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work from our Stockholm office at least two days per week
- We offer a flexible workplace with the possibility to work remotely
- Generous pension plan
- Yearly budget for health, wellness and personal development
- Laptop and mobile phone of your choice with included cellular subscription
- Regular social activities such as team events, meet ups, after works and off-sites
- Daily breakfast served at the office
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we identify a suitable candidate before the application deadline. To ensure consideration, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
