Edison Smart is proud to be partnered with a high-growth fintech building scalable, cloud-native financial products and we’re supporting them in hiring Senior Backend Engineers to join their expanding engineering team.
This role suits engineers with experience in digital banks, payments, trading platforms, or regulated fintech environments who are comfortable building high-performance distributed systems.
What You’ll Do
- Build and scale backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Design microservices and REST APIs in a cloud-native environment
- Work on event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar)
- Own features end-to-end, from design to production
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years backend experience (strong Java + Spring Boot)
- Hands-on microservices and distributed systems experience
- Fintech, digital banking, or payments background preferred
- Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong ownership mindset and product focus
