B2B contract (Freelance)

Role Overview

This position is based in Oslo, Norway, and requires close collaboration with client stakeholders. Due to the sensitive nature of the data handled, Norwegian language proficiency is mandatory.

Exceptions may be considered for technically outstanding candidates, provided they successfully obtain the required Norwegian security clearance.

The role includes hands-on development and maintenance activities such as coding, package implementation, production support, and troubleshooting incident tickets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance data solutions.
• Perform coding, programming, and system configuration.
• Support package implementations and deployments.
• Provide production support and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with data engineering and analytics tools on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
• Dataflow
• Dataproc
• BigQuery
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience working with Databricks on GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Norwegian with clients.

Eligibility & Compliance Requirements

Due to the highly sensitive nature of this role:

• The candidate must be eligible for Norwegian security clearance.
• Norwegian citizenship and continuous residence in Norway for the past five years are required.
• Compliance with national security guidelines is mandatory.
