About the Role
As a Data Analyst at NOV Downhole Broadband Solutions, you will serve as the primary technical and analytical support for our real-time and memory-based drilling services. Acting as a key focal point across up to three rigs at a time, you will monitor operations, interpret complex downhole datasets, and provide timely recommendations that enhance drilling performance, manage risk, and protect wellbore integrity.
You will support Project Managers as an in-house drilling advisor, own critical analytical workflows (from optimization reporting to post-well reviews), and act as a technical escalation point for both internal teams and clients. This role combines deep drilling domain knowledge with strong analytical skills and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to new software solutions, advanced tools, and industry-leading technical publications.
About The Company
NOV Downhole Broadband Solutions is a business group within the NOV Energy Products and Services segment, specializing in drilling automation and optimization through the use of real-time downhole data. By deploying Wired Drill Pipe (WDP) technology and Along-String Measurement (ASM) tools, we enable the transmission of high-density, low-latency data from downhole systems to surface teams. This includes key metrics such as temperature, pressure, rotation, and vibration data, which contribute to smarter, safer, and more efficient drilling operations. As demand grows, we continue to expand our operations and analytics teams to drive innovation and excellence for our customers.

- Demonstrated experience in performance analysis, high-frequency data interpretation, and failure investigation.
- Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear operational recommendations and client-ready reports.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (operations, subsurface, engineering, quality, and software).
