ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, debug, and maintain Python-based automation scripts and applications.
• Refactor existing Python scripts to align with enterprise automation standards and evolving business needs.
• Design and build scalable, flexible, and maintainable automation frameworks using Python.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
• Utilize version control systems (GitHub) and issue tracking tools (JIRA) to manage work and collaborate effectively.
• Improve test coverage, enhance release velocity, and support production stability through automation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 4–6 years of overall professional experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong expertise with GitHub and Jenkins.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Background working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.

PREFERED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience supporting federal projects, preferably CMS.
• Exposure to or understanding of mainframe systems.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
