Python Developer Ex Cap One

Location: Mclean, VA.

These are fullstack Python roles. These are Internal agent-facing applications within Servicing space. The information pulled by applications is to be displayed to customers facing Agents and also to Agenting model. So have to ensure that the patterns align, things are updating correctly, and that it is scalable. This is in the early stages. They want to lay a good foundation, of scalability and observability as well, as we get it to production. There was an MVP that was worked on last year, so we have some components in QA and dev. but they haven't been moved to production yet, so we do have some work to do there to make it production-ready.

Both roles are full stack Python engineers. They need problem solvers. People with experience at Capital One in production space. Someone who has worked end to end, App Dev, Configuration, testing, automation and deployment.

• JavaScript or TypeScript : They have Angular/ React under the hood but they are using an internal built UI framework
• APIs to manage as well, kind of the data consumption side, that could vary a little bit. Doing a little bit of Python. Familiarity with data consumption patterns and APIs
• CI/CD
• Some Familiarity with Spark and Kafka. That side of data consumption would be really helpful to be speaking the language of some of our stakeholders.
• AWS: Experience with containerization, Docker, Fargate and Lambda
