About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled IT UI/UX Designer to join their team on a freelance basis. This role is pivotal in delivering seamless, customer-centric experiences across digital platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders and IT teams to balance technical feasibility with business requirements, ensuring innovative and effective design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from ideation to implementation using Figma.
- Create multi-channel interfaces for web, desktop, and digital platforms.
- Conduct user research and develop personas to understand user needs and goals.
- Collaborate with business teams to align design solutions with organizational strategies.
- Work with IT and development teams to ensure technical feasibility and performance optimization.
- Create interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system in Figma.
- Document design decisions and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in UI/UX design principles, including user research, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Advanced skills in Figma for designing high-fidelity user interfaces.
- Experience with multi-channel design for web, iOS, Android, and desktop platforms.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, Angular, elasticCMS).
- Proficiency in usability testing and feedback integration.
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Confluence.
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in French or Dutch (C1/C2 level).
- Proficient in English (B2 level).
- Basic knowledge of the other national language (B1 level).
Other Requirements
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Brussels at least two days per week.
