Software Engineer

Location: California, El Segundo, 90245 | Salary: £130,900 - £192,500 annual

An innovative organisation in the aerospace and national security space is looking for an Atlassian Software Engineer - Millennium Space Systems. This role focuses on building and administering critical project management and software development infrastructure to support satellite missions. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for Atlassian product health, maintenance, and user support.

What you'll be doing

• Build and maintain projects, workflows, and permissions in JIRA to support program requirements

• Monitor the health of JIRA servers and Atlassian tools to ensure maximum data availability

• Plan and build multiple environments for development, testing, and production including data migrations

• Assist users with Atlassian product usage and provide group training sessions when necessary

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation on the design and usage of Atlassian systems

What we're looking for

• Three or more years of experience in JIRA and general Atlassian product administration

• Proficiency in programming with Python, Java, SQL, JSON, and Groovy

• Experience with GitLab or similar version control tools and web application administration

• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams to determine technical needs and project goals

• Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role
