The IT Coordinator will ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process for employees, ensuring that all necessary IT equipment and access are provided and revoked as required. This role will also oversee the management and tracking of IT inventory, including laptops, mobile devices, printer cartridges, SIM cards, and other essential IT assets. The IT Coordinator will work closely with the IT Helpdesk team to efficiently handle these processes, thereby reducing the burden on the helpdesk and allowing them to focus on support and troubleshooting tasks.

The IT Coordinator will ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process for employees, ensuring that all necessary IT equipment and access are provided and revoked as required. The IT Coordinator will work closely with the IT Helpdesk team to efficiently handle these processes, thereby reducing the burden on the helpdesk and allowing them to focus on support and troubleshooting tasks.
🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On
- Seamless Onboarding:
- Lead the IT component of the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are equipped with the necessary technology and system access to be productive from day one. Collaborate closely with the IT Helpdesk team, HR, and department heads to ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding experience that aligns with company goals.
- Effective Offboarding:
- Manage the IT offboarding process to ensure a secure and smooth transition when employees leave the organization. This includes revoking system access, recovering IT assets, and maintaining data security, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
- IT Asset Management:
- Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement requests to retirement, ensuring the organization’s technology resources are optimized for performance and availability. This includes managing inventory levels, tracking asset deployment, and coordinating with vendors as needed for after-sales support and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support, coordination, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in IT asset management tools and software.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and data protection regulations is a plus.
- May require occasional after-hours work to accommodate onboarding or offboarding schedules
