The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral, and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance. About The Job
The ICRC Economic Security (EcoSec) Unit is seeking a highly capable Economic Security Generalist to join our team in Kharkiv. The role is responsible for participation in the planning, implementing, and monitoring the ICRC’s economic security program. The EcoSec Generalist will carry out basic field and office work related to implementing and monitoring the ICRC’s economic security programme under the close supervision and guidance of their hierarchical superior.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, planning, and implementation of the project’s activities under his responsibilities
- Conduct beneficiary selection, registration, verification, distributions, follow up and implementation of all activities under responsibility
- Prepare project implementation action plans in line with the set objectives, timeframe and the internally adopted coordination mechanisms
- Conduct regular field visit and monitoring of the EcoSec interventions based on the internally established tools and procedures
- Manage data entry and reporting and ensures proper follow up with Project Activity Management (PAM) focal point
- Manage and organize the EcoSec beneficiaries’ database.
- Writes field trip reports and minutes of meetings based on given guidelines.

About You
To be successful as Economic Security Generalist in the EcoSec Department, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics:
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- High school diploma, technical education, or professional or university degree in a related field
- Good command (spoken and written) of English and Ukrainian
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar field of activity
- Experience working for an NGO or international organization an asset
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
