Role: Full Stack Developer Intern

Role: Full Stack Developer Intern
This internship offers hands-on exposure to both front-end and back-end development in production environments. You will partner with senior developers and product teams to design, develop, test, and deploy user-focused features. Expect to work on customer-facing components, API integrations, and performance improvements—delivering tangible results that are used by real users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and accessible web interfaces using modern front-end technologies (for example: React, Angular or Vue).
- Implement server-side logic, APIs, and integrations using Node.js, Python, or similar back-end frameworks.
- Write clean, reusable code and contribute to shared libraries and components.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs, and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and regular sprint ceremonies.
- Write unit and integration tests, and follow test-driven development practices where appropriate.
- Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support deployment and CI/CD workflows and help maintain development and production environments.
- Deliver end-to-end features—from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Gain practical experience with front-end libraries, component design, and state management.
- Work with RESTful APIs (and optionally WebSockets for real-time features) and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Understand and apply best practices in source control (Git), branching strategies, and code review etiquette.
- Build a stronger foundation in debugging, automated testing, and performance tuning.
Must Have:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a desire to deepen these skills.
- Familiarity with at least one front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Basic understanding of back-end development using Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
- Fundamental knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Awareness of REST API concepts and how clients interact with servers.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and patterns.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Experience with Git and familiarity with branching and pull request workflows.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility basics.
- Exposure to deployment processes, Docker, or cloud platforms (optional).
- Interest in writing automated tests and following CI/CD practices.
