Job Description- Graphics Programmer

Company- Appsoleut Games is a passion driven, fast growing mobile gaming studio based out of Gurgaon, India. Our Mission to soon become a leader in the mobile gaming industry, internationally. We develop vehicle-based games in the simulation, driving and racing genre. Our games have done us proud by consistently staying in the Top 30 games in the Racing category in USA and beating (momentarily!) Nintendo Mario Kart in Japan! We have a strong user base of millions and are now looking for a ‘Graphics Programmer' to help us reach the next level.

QUALIFICATIONS-

• Degree in Computer Science or IT or have relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in developing HLSL or GLSL shaders.
• Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, vector mathematics, and trigonometry.
• Experience with DirectX, Vulkan, or OpenGL.
• Understanding of different rendering pipelines.
• Familiarity with any game engine. Knowledge of Unity3D graphics pipeline would be a plus.
• Proven portfolio and experience with Open world game optimizations.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Should be able to work in a growing company environment that is very dynamic and challenging.

RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Develop and implement rendering techniques, lighting models, and visual effects (post-processing, shadows).
• Optimize GPU and CPU performance to ensure high frame rates, managing memory and rendering bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain tools for the graphics pipeline, including shaders and workflows for artists.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex performance issues over multiple platforms including Android and iOS.
• Collaborate and harmoniously work with other team members.
